It all starts with what can be seen behind the pane. The child stands in front of it so that a tree or a roof is on the other side, and traces the outlines with a marker straight onto the transparent surface: a landscape takes shape in a few minutes, and along the way it becomes clear that drawing is above all looking. Where did the idea come from? It was the Impressionists who taught the world to paint from nature, in the open air - Monet, Renoir and Pissarro carried their easels out of the studio into the meadows to paint what was in front of their eyes. The second principle is in the name: Pablo Picasso used to say that every child is an artist, and the art is to remain one as an adult.
So that these pictures can be made all year round, the board has to withstand any weather: rain, frost and sun. The frame is steel, galvanised and powder-coated, so it does not rust in contact with moisture, and instead of glass the frame holds a transparent plexiglass pane - it does not shatter and withstands knocks, accidental ones included. Paints and markers come off with a damp sponge, without harsh detergents - water with a little soap is enough. The board is for all seasons and is covered by a warranty. The manufacturer is EduPlayground, and the equipment is made in Poland.
Four elements: one shows the world on the other side, the others decide who paints and with what.
