A personalised playground with the story of its place

Personalised playground equipment shows a logo, a patron, local history or the setting's own programme. Instead of anonymous equipment, a nursery, school, local authority or parish gets a playground that tells the story of its own place.

Scope of personalisation

Three layers of personalisation

Personalisation covers two layers: colour, and the equipment's artwork and content. The way the equipment works does not change - what changes is how it looks and what story it tells.

Colour

The colour of the frame, the post or the whole structure can be chosen to order on almost every piece of equipment, so that it suits the place where it will stand.

Equipment artwork and content

Board panels, wheel discs, Memory cubes, Hapti textures, marble race track stickers and animation drawings follow a theme chosen by the setting. The artwork is not made from a ready-made template.

Installations

Made to order

Every piece of equipment in these photos was made for one place: a game about water treatment in Suwałki, Memory with photos of Opole, a board with a dragon and Lisowicia.

Step by step

How personalisation works

Personalisation goes through four stages: from a conversation about the place to equipment ready for installation.

1

Talk to an adviser

The adviser gets to know the place and the setting's idea, and selects the equipment and the scope of personalisation.

2

Designed from scratch

NPZ's graphic designer draws the design from scratch, for the agreed theme and the chosen equipment.

3

Design approval

Changes are made in agreement with the customer until the design is approved.

4

Production and installation

Made in Poland, delivery and optional installation. Lead time: 8 weeks from signing the contract.

Frequently asked questions

What can be personalised, and who is this equipment for?

Your own artwork and content can go on boards, educational wheels, memory games or marble race tracks, and every piece of equipment can be ordered in any colour scheme. It is chosen by local authorities, schools, nurseries and public spaces that are building the image of their place.

Is it safe? Which standards does it meet?

This is playground equipment, designed and tested in line with the EN 1176-1 standard. Each piece has a declaration of conformity and a certificate from an accredited body - the same document that counts in a tender.

What does installation at your site involve?

Every piece of equipment is fixed permanently: with steel anchors in the ground, or with chemical anchors on concrete and paving. It also has a defined safety zone. An adviser helps work out its dimensions and the right installation method for your particular surface.

Will it last outdoors all year round?

Yes. The frames are steel, galvanised and powder-coated, and parts exposed to moisture are made of stainless steel. They withstand rain, frost and sun, so they stay in the playground all year round, with no need to put them away for the winter.
